Where to use:
FAXE Boat Lacquer is suitable for all types of wood surf aces in- and outdoor, where a strong surface is wanted.

Preparation:
The wood must be clean, dry, solid and sustainable. Uncoated wood should be primed with FAXE Boat Lacquer diluted with 10% White Spirit.

Application:
Apply minimum 2 times with undiluted lacquer on top. Between each layer the surface should be sanded lightly with fine sandpaper and wiped clean. Lacquered wood should be cleaned thoroughly of dirt, salt layer etc. by washing with clean fresh water. All loose varnish should be sanded evenly and firm lacquer should be sanded matt. The product should not be applied in direct sunlight or on strong solar heated surfaces. One must expect some degradation of the wood surfaces due to solar ultraviolet rays. An annual renovation may be necessary. FAXE Boat Lacquer should be applied in several thin layers rather than one thick layer, as this provides the strongest and fastest curing, and gives maximum durability. Sand lightly between each layer.

Technical data:
Cleaning: Clean tools with White Spirit.

Storage: Dry and cool.

Components:
Alkydoil, drying agents, non-aromatic white spirit.

Empty the complete contents of the container into a plastic vessel, stir thoroughly before and during use. Several containers containing identical products should be mixed together. The finished result depends, amongst other things, on the preparatory treatment, structure and natural colour of the substrate. For this reason, try out first on a sample area.

Reservations are made for technical changes and printing errors.

IMPORTANT
Risk of spontaneous ignition: Oil-soaked cloths, abrasive dust, etc. can spontaneous ignite. Soak cloths etc. in water and dispose or keep in a fireproof container.
