A light, natural and open surface.
FAXE Floor soap is made from light and pure vegetable oils and natural wax. The product has been specially developed to quickly saturate the wood's pores and provide effective protection against spilt liquids such as, e.g. coffee, red wine, etc.
FAXE Floor Soap Natural gives the wood a light, golden surface, and FAXE Floor Soap White provides the wood with a completely bright, whitewashed surface. Lye-treated wood is saturated with a thick solution of FAXE Floor soap and water.

Wooden floors are not maintenance-free but can be sanded and surface treated. For example, a wooden floor treated with lye and soap is cleaned with ordinary soapy water.
However, twice a year, the floor must be washed more thoroughly than usual - preferably with hot water and FAXE Trærens before soap treatment.
This must be done to remove the dirt and grime that settles on the surface. This is especially the case in walkways and other places where people move around a lot, e.g. around the dining table.
In a wooden floor treated with lye and soap, scratches and impact marks can be removed, as the soapy water causes the wood to rise again so the marks disappear. However, lye treatment is not suitable for dark hardwoods.
Faxe Floor Soap is available in 2 colour variants, Natural and White.
